Who am I

I offer my daily prayers in Arabic,
I often hum a tamil rap now an then.
I studied sanskrit shlokas in school recited them with full vigour and can do it anyday.
I miss my childhood days in a small town named Ambernath.
I loved the way a khadi clad gujarati fought with the entire British empire for Indian independence.
I am filled with joy evrytime i see people performing bhangra.
I like to dig in to scrumptious food cooked on Sankaranthi the same way i savour sheerkhurma on eid.
I secrelty wanted to sneak out and play holi with my friends every year.
I stand up and applaud every six that is hit by Dhoni or Tendulkar, scream on evry wicket taken by Kumble or Harbhajan.
I made best of the friends with Emil Taj Shashi and scroes more.
I was fascinated by Amar Chitra Katha's Dasha Aavataar, used to read Ramayan and Mahabharath with equal interest like i used to read Mandrake or Phantom.
I perfomred a small pooja at the inauguration of TT tournament at our club, coz none of the others knew any mantras.

These and many more similar things can be anyones dreams wishes, day to day activities, aspirations, likes, dislikes. Have we forgotten who we are before being a hindu, a muslim, a Tam , a maratha, a sikh, a bihari.... Think again and ask yourslef ....

Who am I ??
